Happy Friday Watchers!
Today we’re launching one of the coolest projects we’ve ever worked on at Krit! GreyNoise is a cybersecurity company started by one of my best friends (and former roommate).
They monitor the background noise of the internet. Basically, there are lots of computers that are constantly scanning the internet. Some of these are totally chill - like Google. Others are computer that have been hacked and are now being used to hack other vulnerable devices.
GreyNoise monitors all of these to tell big companies who to worry about and who not to.
We’ve spent the last 3 months working with them on a brand new visualizer to let people explore their data. With it you can see some really cool things, like all of the compromised devices in Belgium, or Microsoft, or all the devices with .gov domains.
Check it out! And let me know if you want to hear the story about me paying my rent in Bitcoin. 😂
Cheers from Charleston ✌️
