Happy Friday Watchers!
Sunday I jumped out of a plane. On purpose. From 14,000 ft.
My little sister, who’s also one of my best friends, turned 21 on the 17th. When I asked her what she wanted for her birthday she said either a sibling tattoo or a skydiving trip. 🛩
She picked skydiving and I’m so glad she did. I expected it to be fun, but more than anything it was incredibly empowering.
For your entire life you’re told you should never have to jump out of a plane unless ~everything~ goes wrong. But there you are, intentionally opening the door and throwing yourself out.
It’s terrifying, exciting, beautiful, fun and empowering. Pretty incredible sharing the experience with my little sister too.
I want to learn to jump solo, because now I can’t imagine anything more compelling than knowing the only person who can save your life on the way down is you.
Cheers from Charleston ✌️
P.S. I also gave my first fireside chat this weekend, we welcomed an awesome new member to the Krit team and tonight I’m headed to Cumberland Island to celebrate my dad’s 60th birthday. It’s been a big week. I’m pretty tired…
