I participated in a super interesting roundtable discussion around leadgen the other day. The whole thing was organized by my friend Philip Morgan, there were 15-20 consultants and agency owners, it wasn’t recorded and it lasted about 2 hours.
I thought I would share a few interesting insights:
💌 The fastest leadgen tactic is still direct outreach (email baby)
📹 Personalized videos in your cold emails go a long way
🔑 Quality > quantity, and constantly test new channels
👥 Start with your personal network
👯♀️ Small communities (study groups, masterminds, etc.) can be super effective
💵 If you’re going to hold a workshop, charge for it. Quality of leads goes way up.
